Design & Mobile

Apps and interfaces peopleunderstand straight away

The screens and journeys of your product designed so nobody needs training — and, when you need it, the mobile app built and published on the App Store and Google Play.

One team for design and mobile, so nothing is lost in handover. We research what users are trying to do, design every screen and state, then build with a shared codebase where it saves money and native code where performance demands it. You can take the design only, or design and build.

  • UI/UX
  • iOS
  • Android

Is this you?

If any of these sound familiar, this is the service you are looking for.

  • New users need explaining before they can use your product
  • Screens look inconsistent because there is no shared system
  • Customers drop off on your mobile website and you need a real app
  • Your app is stuck in review or falling behind platform rules

What you get

Deliverables

01

Research and flows

What users are trying to do, and the shortest path to letting them do it.

02

A prototype you can tap

Every screen and state designed, responsive from phone to desktop, clickable on your own device.

03

A design system

Colours, type, components and states documented so engineering builds without guessing.

04

One app, both stores

React Native or Flutter, with native code where speed or hardware access needs it.

05

The bits behind it

Accounts, APIs, offline storage, push notifications and analytics.

06

Published and watched

App Store and Play submission, phased rollout and crash reporting from day one.

Typical stack

  • Figma
  • Design tokens
  • React Native
  • Expo
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
  • Firebase

Outcome — A tested, consistent interface and a published app on both stores, with release pipelines and crash reporting in place.

How we do it

How we do it,step by step

Typical durations for a project of this type. You get a working demo at the end of every sprint, not a surprise at the end.

  1. 01

    Discover

User interviews, competitor review, key journeys and platform decisions settled.

    1–2 weeks
  2. 02

    Design

Flows, wireframes, then finished screens and a clickable prototype tested on real devices.

    3–5 weeks
  3. 03

    Build

Fortnightly test builds sent to your phone via TestFlight and Play, checked against the design.

    6–10 weeks
  4. 04

    Launch

Store submission, review handling and a phased release.

    1–2 weeks
  5. 05

    Support

OS updates, SDK upgrades, new screens and system updates on a retainer.

A small senior team, named at kick-off. The people who scope your project are the people who build it.

Common questions

Can you design without building?
Yes. Design-only engagements with a full Figma and design-system handover are common.
Native or cross-platform?
Cross-platform for most business apps. Native when you need heavy graphics, AR or deep device features — we advise per project.
Do you test with real users?
Where you have access to users, yes. Otherwise we test with a close proxy audience and say so.
Do you handle the store accounts?
Yes, we set up and submit under your developer accounts so you keep ownership.
What if Apple rejects the app?
Review responses are part of the launch step. We build against the guidelines and handle any back-and-forth.
Who maintains it afterwards?
We do, on a support retainer covering OS updates and compatibility. Or we hand over with documentation.
